Peter Kubasch, Head of School
Beginning of August Peter Kubasch assumed his new role as Head of School at Phorms Campus Hamburg.
Prior to that, he was Head of School for the state-recognized private Secondary School “Gymnasium Lüneburger Heide”, a position which he held for over 14 years.
After finalizing his teaching degree for Secondary Schools he initially spent 18 years working in consumer goods marketing. Dealing with domestic and international clients and partners earned him diverse experience in management and the service industry.
Joachim Heß, Deputy Head of School
Since August 2015 Joachim Heß is Deputy Head of School at Phorms Campus Hamburg. Joachim Heß has long-standing experience in teaching and school administration in Germany and abroad. After his studies in German literature, English and American studies he taught in secondary schools.
Before joining the Phorms team he was Deputy Head of School at different schools in northern Germany, Las Palmas (Spain) and Porto (Portugal).
Sven Ahnfeldt, Business Manager
Sven Ahnfeld took over the commercial management (as a substitute for parental leave) in August 2019.
He brings his school management experience to the performance team, which he gained in the management of two international schools in Hamburg and Frankfurt/Main. His studies at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia have familiarized him with the English language. Born in Hamburg, he also has his roots in what is supposed to be the most beautiful city in the world: Hamburg.
Christine Arruda, Head of Primary School
Christine Arruda finished her teacher training for primary and secondary schools in 2008. From 2009 to 2016 she lived in the USA and worked with children from 0 to 6 years old.
At the beginning of 2016, she began her career with Phorms as a primary school teacher for German, Topic and Mathematics. Individualisation of learning within the classroom environment is important to her.
In 2017, Ms. Arruda became a member of the school management as coordinator of the primary school. As part of a parental leave, Ms. Arruda has been acting head of the primary school since March 2019.
Jenny Brandt, Head of Nursery
She holds a degree in social pedagogy and has many years of management experience in bilingual nurseries in Hamburg. After her studies in Münster she gained international experience in various educational projects in Australia, New Zealand and Gambia.
Susann Borchert, Deputy Head of Nursery
Originally from Mecklenburg, she studied childhood education and has been with the PhorMinis since they started in 2012. She worked as a pedagogical assistant in the groups in both the elementary school and the crèche area until July 2019. Since August 2019 she has been a member of the management team next to Mrs Brandt.
Anja Kahl, School Assistant Primary
Anja Kahl is a certified multilingual administrative assistant who has gathered a broad range of experience in the field of international business. Since May 2019 she is responsible for the organisation of the school office of the Phorms Campus Hamburg.
Tobias Quack, School Assistant
Tobias Quack started his professional life at Phorms in October 2019. Prior to this he studied Ethnology (M.A.) and Social Economics (B.A.) at the University of Hamburg. However, through his voluntary social year, student temporary work and his voluntary commitment, he has already gained some experience in working with children and young people, as well as in office administration.
Ramona Miesem & David Rosenzweig,
Management Team Hort
Ramona Miesem has worked at the Phorms Campus Hamburg as a teaching assistant since 2013. Ms Miesem is a qualified childcare worker who has gathered a wide range of experience in bilingual learning environments from childcare centres and primary schools. In summer 2019 Ms Miesem took on the role of the deputy head of the extracurricular programme at the school.
David Rosenzweig has been at the Phorms Campus Hamburg since 2012. He is an Australian-born social worker who started at the Campus as a Teaching Assistant and took over as head of the extracurricular progamme in summer 2018. Mr Rosenzweig likes living in Hamburg, his adopted home, and he enjoys working with Ms Miesem to create interesting and varied offers for the children in the holiday care and after-school programmes.
