15 of the youngest members of our day care, aged from 18 months to 3 years, are looked after by three carers every day. The day is structured bilingually, introducing children to both German and English. What does a crèche child’s day look like?
Once all children have arrived, the day begins at 9:30am with a morning circle during which the important topics of the day are discussed with the children.
After the morning circle, children can take part in an activity.
The activities on offer each day range from early musical education, to small craft projects, to PE lessons in the school hall. We also offer field trips with our kiddy bus as part of the programme – which are always a highlight for our young explorers!
Afterwards lunch is served in our children’s restaurant at 11:30.
Now it’s time to relax and gather some strength for the rest of the day. The dormitory with its cosy beds is the perfect place to do this. After a good rest, children go to the afternoon care. Here children can follow their interests during the educational free play time, or they can finish projects or work that they have started.
At 3:30pm there is time for a small snack which is eaten with the elementary groups.
The day finishes up with late care from 4pm where there is more time for children to enjoy educational free play.
