Facilities & Environment | Phorms Hamburg

The U-shaped building offers our kindergarden children and older students a protected area including a courtyard with games and climbing walls.

Our day care centre is designed according to the principle of experiential learning spaces. The children have access to a variety of materials and can select from a wide range of options. Our experiential learning spaces are divided into functional spaces.

In order to promote the idea of independent learning, we operate according to the principle of learning workshops. We provide the children with structured materials that they become interested in trying out, exploring and experimenting with by themselves. We have an atelier, an active play area, relaxation zones and quiet zones as well as a media room and research laboratory for mathematics and scientific experiments. Our spaces provide specific stimuli to meet the wants and needs of our children.

The day care centre area is separate from the school and has its own entrance. It is located on the same level as the pre-school.

Although the day care centre has its own small outdoor play area, the children are also welcome to use the school playground.
